Hands move through almost every part of the day, yet their care is often treated as an afterthought. Occeanne was created to make the everyday ritual of washing, refining, and restoring feel more considered.

We begin with performance and sensory pleasure, then consider every ingredient, material, and detail around them. The result is hand care that looks beautiful at the sink, feels exceptional in use, and earns its place in your routine.

The beginning

It started at the sink.

Founder Julia was looking for a hand wash that could do three things at once: care beautifully for the hands, complement a considered home, and use ingredients she felt good about returning to throughout the day.

What she found usually asked for a compromise. A beautiful bottle might contain a formula that felt ordinary. A thoughtful formula might arrive in packaging that was easy to overlook. Products with strong environmental language did not always deliver the elevated experience she wanted to live with every day.

Occeanne began in the space between those choices.

Julia’s English heritage and Australian influence shaped an instinct for understated design, sensory pleasure, and products that work without excess. Occeanne was founded as a family business in Los Gatos, California, with the Pacific coastline as both inspiration and responsibility.

That combination became our point of view: beauty should feel effortless, performance should be purposeful, and better material choices should be built into the object rather than added as an afterthought.

Our Ocean Waves Hand Wash bottle is made from 100% recycled Ocean Bound Plastic certified by Prevented Ocean Plastic™. The plastic is recovered near coastlines and waterways before it can enter the ocean, then given a new purpose.

Our hand creams and hand scrub are presented in recyclable aluminum tubes. Different products call for different materials, but the intention remains the same: work thoughtfully with the resources we have, reduce reliance on virgin plastic, and preserve a premium experience.
