Why conventional pumps are difficult
A typical pump may look like one piece, but its construction can make the end of its life unnecessarily complicated.
Mixed materials
Conventional pumps can combine plastic, metal springs, rubber or silicone seals, and glass components.
Difficult to separate
Small, tightly assembled components are rarely practical for a customer or recycling facility to take apart.
A lost opportunity
Even when the bottle is recyclable, a mixed-material pump may not follow the same recycling path.

Our pump is made entirely from polypropylene (PP), including the spring and ball that are commonly made from metal or glass.
By designing the pump in a single plastic material, we remove the mixed-material construction that makes conventional pumps difficult to process.
The result is a high-performing pump designed to adapt to mainstream plastic recycling processes where PP is accepted.

Packaging still has to perform beautifully. The pump is designed to dispense a considered amount of product smoothly, help prevent leaks, and protect the formula between uses.

After the final pump
Simple preparation gives each component its best chance at another life.
Empty
Use the product fully and remove any remaining formula from the bottle.
Separate
Remove the pump from the bottle and rinse both components.
Recycle
Place accepted components in recycling according to your local guidelines.
